WOULD NOT FORCE A CONFLICT
(Received 3.5 p.m.) LONDON, March IG. Dr. Lindauer, in a pamphlet published in Vienna, says that the allegation that England desired a world war has not been proved. He cites a series of cri*es settled owing to Britain's efforts, and quotes Dr. Yon Betbinann -Hollweg's recognition of .Britain's work-"in this direction. ...... ~ Those acquainted with the English, he says, never believe that she would become a criminal against herself or humanity. The Socialist paper "Vorwaerts" says that the pamphlet is worthy of attention because Dr. Lindauer approved ot the Aus-tro-Germans' standpoint concerning the war.
