The Chamber of Commerce cabled to the London Chara'.ici' an to whether, in ▼iew of the Reljian Commission's appeal. It was advisable to concentrate their fund on Belgium. The London Chamber replied that requirements were still urgent, and it was desirable that foodstuffs and the fund should continue for the benefit of the w.iuinie.l ►..ild'.ers. refugees, and distressed poor. The Chamber added: "We have a perfect organisation. You 6hould not concentrate on Belgium under the present eiretimsianees. The fund exceeds €100.000. and all but €3500 has already been allocated to purchase supplies."
