THE SUBMARINE VICTIMS.
FLORAZAN SUNK WITHOUT WARNING.
HARTS ALE FAILS TO DODGE THE CRAFT. LONDON, March 15. The German:submarine U29 gave the Auguste Conseil's crew ten minutes to quit. The engineer refused to scuttle the steamer, and the Germans exploded three bombs aboard. These were ineffective, bnt three others broke the vessel in two. The crew were taken aboard the submarine and given cigars. The submarine towed the boats, ana handed them over to a neutral steamer. The Adenwen's crew was treated similarly. The Florazau was sunk without warning; and the explosion killed the fireman. The Ifartdale's captain disregarded the submarine's order to atop, aud zigzagged for an hour,-until he was overtaken. Then he skilfully manoeuvre, his vessel, preventing the submarine aiming until the latter was ao close that escape' was impossible. The ship was torpedoed at close range. The capta'ir and three others were picked out of the water in an exhausted condition.
