OCCUPANTS INJUKED. XGARUAWAHIA, this day. The Toad between Mercer and Huntly was the scene of a motor accident daring: ." the. week-end. 3fonsignor Gillan, while travelling /by car to. Ngaruawabii, 1 Q perform the ceremony of opening -thenew Roman Catholic church, sustained injuries to his head, leg, and face through the motor capsizing. Monsignor Gillan : con-' tinned his journey in another car, and performed the ceremony notwithstanding his, injuries. The chauffeur was alio 'hurt. ' Both victims .were attended ly. ' Pr, McDiarmid. Another accident occurred when JCr. J. Collins, of TaupiTi, while cycling, was knocked down 'by an Auckland motor car, receiving injuries to hie leg, and being roughly shaken. His meebine was considerably damaged.
