At a meeting of the Auckland Educational Institute, held on Saturday, Mr. T. U. Wells, M.A.., headmaster of the Richmond Road school, was nominated as the representative on the Council of Education of the male teachers of the North Island. Mr. Wells was a member of the Royal Commission on Education i that sat in 1912. '
