WASTE OF GOOD RABBITS.
SYDNEY, this day. A deputation from the Workers' Association waited on the Minister of Lands in regard to the low prices in the rabbit industry. The deputation suggested Government control, and the establishment of freezing works. They asked that poisoning be abolished, and that it be made illegal to destroy useful food. The Minister stated that the objection raised against State meat freezing works was applicable to rabbits, as the drought conditions would interfere with regular supplies.
