OPERA HOUSE. The variety performance at the Opera House will be repeated to-ulght ana to ' moi-row afternoon and evening. Popular euJ tertalnere are James Teddy, the jumper; Vaude and Verne, the "patterologUts"; Crco. Ford, ventriloquist; Wong Toy Sun, master of many tricks; and the clever clown riquo. PICTURE ENTERTAINMENTS. "One of Our Girls" It a popular Aim at the Palace Theatre, an attractive part being played by iMlss Hazel Dawn, one of the American favourites. "The Children o£ Destiny" heads the hew bill at the Arcadia Theatre. The story Iβ one of absorbing Interest, and the picture lias made a marked impression. "The Girl and the Explorer" is one of the favourites at the Globe Theatre. . At the King's Theatre the management have a strong draw In "The Little Urey Lady" (I>y'Uie "Famous Players" Company). "The Prince of Crime;" which Introduces a train hold-up, is the principal picture at the Queen's Theatre. "Tecs of the Storm Country" Is shown to big houses at all sessions at the Grand Theatre. Another of the exploits of the lady knon-u as "Dolly of the Dailies" v a prominent feature of the programme. "TJi-i! Accursed Drug" trill be shown at the Alhnmbra Theatre at both sessions' tonigiit. _ I "The War Baby" ha* created a sensation at the Kins Oteorge Theatre. The story Is based on incidents of the present crisis. "In the. Power of a Hypnotist," a very realistic creation, is the star picture of the new serlce at .the Princess Theatre. ' The pictures of the Australian "nevernever liind," the mysterious and little known oul-back of the Island contlbent, will be repeated at the Lyric Theatre to-night and tnli.'f to-morrow. ORGAN RECITAL. The municipal organ recital will he given In the Town Hall on Saturday evening next. The programme will Include Lemare'g flne fantasia on the tune "•Hanover," "Quls est homo." from Boggini'g "Stabat Mater " and the "WeymoutU Bells" for carillons
