WIRELESS AND SHIPPING.
ADMIRALTY PROCLAMATION. WATERS SOWN WITH MINES. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) (Received 0 a.m.) LONDON, August 5. A proclamation has been issued requiring ships to dismantle their wireless apparatus. Another proclamation gives the Admiralty the right to requisition any ship for transport purposes. The German wireless station at Swakopmund. South Africa, is sending out messages on purpose to drown messages passing between the British stations. German steamers in African ports will not return to Europe, but will proceed to South America. The Danish and Germnn waters are sown with submarine mines.
