The trouble between the Wellington Hlgby I'ninn and the Wellington Refrrees' Association over the control of fi « appointment of referees was ad danced another stage to-night. Some todays ago the association practically wEed its members out on strike unless tMir request that tlie union's representative upon the Referee Appointment ■Board he withdrawn was acceded to.
