ARBOR DAY.
I . 1 To-morrow will be observed as Arbor Day by most of fie schools hi the Dominion. All the head teachers in the. Auckland district have been informed that Arbor Day may lie unserved as a school holiday on condition that at every school the children arc brought together, the real purpose of Arbor Day explained, and a number of trees planted. Tlie Auckland Education Board has indicated that in the event nf weather conditions being unsuitable to-morrow. Arbor Day may lie observed on any suitable dale between duly lo and July 31.
