RADIUM IN A DUST CART.
LONDON, February 7. This week, the doctors at the Royal Infirmary, Liverpool, used radium worth £1,000 on a patient's face. When the dressing was removed a day ago, the radium was found to be missing. An expert -with an electroscope detected it in a dust cart, and several professors emptied this bucket by bucket until the radium had been recovered.
