SHOREDITCH MURDER.
CASE AGAINST THE FATHER. LONDON, February 7. Further evidence on the charge of murder brought against a newsvendor named Starchfield, whose little son was found some weeks ago strangled in a compartment of a railway train, was heard yesterday. Moore, a timber porter, testified that he saw Starchfield, whom he knew previously, near the "tube" station at Camden Town on the afternoon of the murder. Starchfield, interrupting, denied knowing Moore, but the latter added: —"I said 'Hello! 5 and Starchfield nodded in return." The case was adjourned till Monday.
