WHOLESALE MURDERER.
SENTENCED TO DEATH. ARSENIC IN AIX BODIES. [(Eeceived 11 a.m.) BERLIN, January 19. The trial of Karl Hopf on charges of having murdered his father, his first wife, and two children, and having attempted to murder his mother and his third wife, has concluded. The prisoner was sentenced to death. Expert witnesses called testified that arsenic had been discovered in the bodies of the four victims, which had been exhumed.
