LLOYD GEORGE'S MESSAGE. A RUSH FOB TICKETS. [(Keecived 9 a.m). ,; ■ LONDON, January 18. Over 50,000 applications have been received for tickets to hear Mr Lloyd George's speech on the rural question at Glasgow on the 2Sth of this month. Mr Walter H. Long (President of the Local Government Board in the last administration), speaking in London, said if the Chancellor was sincere in the matter of land reforms, he could pass a non-contraversal measure in six months to create an independent tribunal to fix the tenure and grant compensation.
