ALLEGED FALSE PRETENCES.

At the Police Court to-day a young man, James Walsh, aped 24, a photo- , grapber at Rotorua, formerly in tbe : postal department, was charged with having obtained the sums of £'.29 10/, | £100, and £145 from the money-order j office at Rotorua in September and' Oc- \ tober by means of vakielesty cheques 1 d-rawn on the Jinnlc of -.New Zealand.
