Puller in the vicinity of the Trades Hall on Wednesday afternoon, and her subsequent admission to the Auckland Hospital with a broken leg, it transpires that the mishap did not occur on the footpath, but in a residence near the corner of Hobson and Cook Streets. The man is alleged to have struck ami kicked her on the ankle, thus causing th e injury referred to. Tt is probable that proceedings will be taken against the assailant in the PoP.ce Court.
