"Argus" says:—"A thoroughly charming and artistic performance of 'Dr. Wake's Patient' was begun on Saturday night by the Hamilton-Plimmer Company at the Princess' Theatre. If any man or woman of the large audience went away dissatisfied with the performance he or she was very hard to please. For the play, though slight in plot, is brightly written, with smart dialogue and a great deal of the love interest which makes for popularity. Played by the right people it must charm.
