A YOUTH ARRESTED.

DANXEVIRKE, this day. A settler at Pukehinau, named Ireland, was wounded last night in the abdomen and hand by a gun shot. A youth mimed Clemens is in custody at Pon<™ roa in connection with the affair \ Ireland, it is alleged, says the Woundwere inflicted by Clemens, while thj latter declines to make a statement.
