Mr Justice Isaacs, summing up in the case in which John Norton, proprietor of "Truth," sued Mr Herald, his solicitor, for £3,000 for negligence in the conduct of the Clarke-Norton libel suit, said that there was considerable difference, of opinion as to what instruction defendant received at the. outset of the libel action. One side or the other had been telling tbe Court what it knew to be untrue. The jury returned a general verdict for defendant! and judgment was entered for defendant with costs.
