SATISFACTORY EXPLANATION. - : (Received 8 a,m.) LONDON, August I. Mr Hall Caine's latest book, 'The Woman Thou Gayest Mc," sales of which to the libraries the author refused, was withheld from them owing to a. dispute between the author and the Libraries' Association, the former believing that some restriction would be placed on the circulation of the book.
