PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION.

LONDON, July 27
The Photographic Society of New South Wales won the first prize in this year's competition held by the "Amateur Photographer." The editor states that the collective entry shows a great advance, and reaches a notably high average. Individual awards, including silver plaques: N. C. Deck and Harold Casneaux, New South Wales: Gerald E. Jones, Auckland; bronze plaques, J. S. Stoning, H- C. Dreyer, C. L. Newman. J. W. Hunter. New South Wales, and J, Williams, Melbourne.
