DRUNKEN POLICEMEN.
ONE USES A REVOLVER. (Received 10.20 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. "A Eensational squabble occurred in the police barracks to-day. Constable Conot, who was alleged to be drunk, refused to leave the building when ordered to. Subsequently he followed Constable Calwell
and fired two revolver shots at him. but without hitting him. He was arrested, summarily dismissed from the force, and charged with shooting with intent to murder. Another member of the force was suspended on a charge of drunkenness.
