EXPLOSION ON SUBMARINE.
ONE KILLED. ELEVEN INJURED. THE ENGINES DESTROYED. LOXDOX, June 9. An explosion on submarine Eo. while
running on the surface of the Bristol Channel, destroyed the engines, and killed one engineer and seriously injured four others. Seven stokers are suffering from burns. Engineer-Commander Moore is in a critical condition. Both his legs were broken and had to be amputated.
