DISMISSED HUNTLY MINERS.
APPEAL FOR REINSTATEMENT. (By Telesrapli.—Own Correspondent.) HUNTLY, this day. The Huntly Miners' Union last night decided to make another application to the directors of the Taupiri mines for the reinstatement of the dismissed men, and if they get no satisfaction, to cite the company before a Conciliation Board with a view to having the men reinstated, and showing that there had been victimisation by the company. There was no talk of a strike. A levy of one shilling per man was struck to support the dismissed men.
