FIRE AT EDEN TERRACE.

OLD BREWERY GUTTED. About ' 2 o'clock this • afternoon fire broke out in tne two-storeyed building in. New North Road, at Eden Terrace, known as Watson's old brewery and now. occupied.by the Kai-Ora Mineral Water Company and the Lion ■ Confectionery; Company. • Before the flames could ,he subdued they had pretty .well gutted the ground and second storeys of the .building, in which the Confectionery Company operated, and .there /was considerable damage" done to the confectionery'stock. The Mineral Water Company carries on business in the basement, and suffered practically no damage from fire, though there'was some "damage done by"%ater.
