The Hotspur Clob has been compelled to make a good many changes in its team this year. Of last season's eleven only four or five members are left Among the mifting this year are P. Crompton (late captain) and A. Foster (right half). These two players will be very sorely missed, but the clob is hopeful of being able to obtain players of just as good quality to fill the vacancies. "W. Walwork, the new enptain, is a player o€ proved ability, while the club also considers itself fortunate in obtaining the services of F. Sullivan and F. Eose, both late of the Gordon Club.

The Railway United football team played the Henderson team on the lattjpr- B ground hi a downpour of rain. The ball was very heavy and rather greasy, owing to the wet * conditions. Both defences held out well, but the forwards bad great difficulty in controlling the wet ball. No goals were scored, though Henderson had rather the better of the exchanges, bnt failed to find the maTk, the game ending in a draw.
