CHAPMAN-ALEXANDER MISSION.

In connection with the visit of the Chapman-Alexander mission to Auckland, n great reception meeting is to be held this evening in the East Street Mission Hall, at which a welcome is to. be tendered by the Mayor of Auckland (Mr. C. J. Purr). The singing will be led by Mr. C. M. Alexander and a trained choir of 500 voices. Mr. J. Wilbur Chapman will deliver his first address in this city. The "Home Day" service for the aged people next Friday afternoon should prove a most interesting gathering. A strong committee of ladies has been set up to visit and. present invitations to <iged. people to be present on "Home Day."
