Sheepskins.—At the sales 4620 bundles were offered to an average attendance aud moderate competition. Practically all the combings sold. Clothings were largely represented, aud were occasionally withdrawn. . compared with March, Australian combings are unchanged, and clothings a farthing lower. New Zealand crossbreds were occasionally in sellers' favour. MARKET REPORTS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having submitted and sold average catalogues of hides and skins on Tuesday, competition-being brisk for all .lines offering. Hides.—ln sympathy with other markets throughout' tbe Dominion, Our market was lower for all descriptions of bides. Extra stont ox B_d to 9_d, stout S.d to BJd. medium Sid to B_d, light Sd to Sid; cows, best lines 8d to BJd, good 7}d to "__, inferior 7d to 7_d: stags, (Id to 6jd; kips, 7d to 7 Jd; calf-skins,. best to lOd, good S.d to 9d; out and damaged. 6d to 7jd. Sheepskins.—The market was firmer. Best butchers' lambs and pelts 4/ to 4/8, medium 3/ to 3/6. small 2/3 to 2/8; country dry and woolly skins, large to 0/, medium 5/6 to 6/9, small 1/ to 3/6. .
