LOCAL BODIES' ELECTIONS.
Mr. G. W. Murray was nominated thi_ morning as a candidate for the City Council by Messrs. Geo. Elliott, L. J. Bagnall, W. B. Leyland, John Court, and G. Read, and another.
Mr. Ernest G. Skeates, jeweller, of Queen Street, is announced as a candidate for the Auckland City Council at the forthcoming election. '
Mr. -John L. Scott announces in our advertising columns that he is standing for both City Council and Hospital'and Charitable Aid Board, and that for each scat he is running as an Independent candidate.
