I nthe third stope gold can be freely seen In the reef. More attention is being paid to No. 2 block to get ' It level with the etopes In No. 1, and thus . allow them to be started- from the main rise. The bulk of last crushing came from ' No. 2. Driving has been resumed in the north face, and, according to survey, the reef should be more to the east. The east crosscut will be extended to ascertain if there is anything in the footwall before going too far with the face. Rising Sun.—ln tie low level tunnel, a leader, which appears to be about 4 inches wide, was cut on Saturday, and from thelittle quartz broken it gives good prospects i of gold by mortar test. The stone is 'similar to that of Noe. 1 and 2 reefs/and is encased in a splendid daes of country rock. ' It Is only showing in the centre of the lerei. ■.--.'■
