SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP.
AN OFFER TO BARRT TO ROW ON THE MOKAU. (Received 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, April 15. A Mokau syndicate has cabled an offer of £1,000 to Barry to row an unnamed sculler on the Mokau River, New Zealand, in November next. Pearce has begun bis work. Critics think that he conforms more to English sculling ideals than did "Dick" Arnst.
