RAILWAY STRIKERS' AWARD.
CONDITIONS IMPROVED. (Received 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The award of the Board in respect of the claims filed by the Railway Traffic Association has been issued. The hours are fixed at 00 per fortnight, and the rates of pay are adjusted, considerably improving the position of the men. No preference is given to any class of unionistSj but disputes are to be referred ..to. the chairman 6f't\ie Board. The award ; has a, duration of. three years.
