COAL STRIKE ENDED.

MEN RETURNING TO WORK. SYDNEY, April 14. The strike on the Southern coalfields has been settled. The men will resume work as soon as the collieries are ready to receive them. Mr. Carmiehael addressed the coal strikers at Wollongong to-day. He announced that the proprietors had agreed to the Government's proposals, and that it only remained for the men to go straight back to work. The pit horses, which had been turned out, arc being brought back.
