CON<—UDTNG DAT, The Takapuna Jockey Club's Summer Meeting -was concluded to-day at .the North Shore, In fine weather, and with a good attendance. Results: MOANA HAKDICAP of lOOsovs. Seven furlongs. E. W. Alison's br g Allegation, 4yrs, by Gladstone —Alegar, 8.3 (Bell) 1 J. Kean's br g Phosphorus, 4yrs, by Wal riki—Bright Spark, 8.3 <R. E. Brown) 2 A. There was some trouble at the post, but eventually they were let go to an even start, from which the colours of Phosphorus, Allegation, and St. Lewis were most prominent, with Makura and Mary Ann leading the others. Going along the back Allegation ran Into the lead, and crossing tne top was out two lengths in front of Phosphorus and St Lewis, which were together, and then came Makorn. with ..-.imrod at the bead of the others, which were strung out, Allworthy falling. Allegation was first to turn for home, and stalling off a strong challenge from Phosphorus won by a neck. Makura was half a length away third, and then came Nimrod, Pekerangi. Troublesome, and St. Lewis, with Mary Ann and Pearl last Time, 1.30 4-5. Makura was favourite. After the Moana Handicap tire stipendiary stewards had O'Shea, the rider of Mary Ann, and R. E. When they were let go .Shebeen lost some ground. Miss Livonia being first to showout, and led out of the straight, followed by Heyboy, Pip. Joe. Explosive. Tlri, Pat, and Shebeen, with Erindale last. Going along the back Miss Livonia was out a couple of lengths In front of Heyboy, with Shebeen lying third, and Pip. Joe. Tlrl. Pat. and Explosive following in that order. The hurdle at tbe seven furlongs' post brought Heyboy and Joe to grief. Shebeen led pa-t the sumd four lengths clear of Miss Livonia, after which came Pip, Put, and Explosive. Pip ran up second going along the back, but had no chance of reaching Shebepu. wbich won easily hy five lengths. Explosive was three lengths further back third, then followed Pat, Miss Livonia. Elegance 6.8. There was a lot of trouble at the post, Overtime and Kotlropu in particular being restive, but they got away on fairly even terms. Mighty Atom was quickest to begin, followed by Apellon. Overtime, and Lucille. When they struck the course proper Lucille was on terms with Mighty Atom, the pair being a couple of lengths in front of Apellon. after which came Overtime, with Blue Garment at the head of the others. Lucille was In charge when they crossed the top and turned for home, just in front of Apellon and Overtime. At the distance Apellon put in his claim, and. quickly settling Lucille, stalled off a strong challenge by Overtime, winning by three-parts of a length. Bine Garment, which finished fast, was a similar distance away, third, and then came Elegance. Bow Bells, Red Lnpln, with Monollne, Cloudy Dawn, and .Mighty Atom together last. Time, 1.10 2-6.
