UNDESIRABLE ALIENS.
CANADA TO KEEP COUNT. (Received 10.28 a.m.) OTTAWA. January 31. The Canadian Government is contemplating the introduction of a system for the identification of Chine-se immigrants, in which photographs and the Bertillon svstein of measurement will be used. "It is estimated that there are 50.000 Chinese in the Dominion. No statement is forthcoming as to whether the proposed system will be applied to the Hindus.
