STEAMER ASHORE.
SYDNEY, January 31
The coastal steamer Innamincka. belonging to the Adelaide Steamship Company, is ashore on Alexandra Reef, 25 miles north of Cairns (Queensland). She was bound from Cairns to Melbourne, and was bloAcn out of her course by a cyclone.
The vessel is lying ju=t outside Port Douglas, from which port the company has dispatched the Kuranda to the scene. The postmaster has received a telegram from Port Douglas. sLating that it is probable the vessel will be refloated without, damage. Communication with Cairns is interrupted. The officers and crew number 50.

When last heard of prior to the mishap the Innaminacka was sheltering under Cape Grafton, and it is difficult to understand how she got twenty miles north of that locality.
