HOBOE CONFERENCE.
AMERICA'S LEISURED CLASS.
NEW YORK, January 31
At New Orleans the national convention of hoboes and tramps is being held. The convention decided that hoboes should adopt suffragette methods in order to secure their release from gaol when convicted of vagrancy.
Protests were made against the strictness of the vagrancy laws in several of the States, and resolutions were ordered to be sent to the State Legislatures accordingly.
