SHIPBUILDING BOOM

BRITISH YARDS A_L_L BUSY. LONDON, December 17. British warship-building yards are all fully employed. In addition to the British battleships under construction, shipbuilding firms are building seven warships for Turkey, dapan, Australia. Chili, and Brazil. The Admiralty will have to lay down ten armoured cruisers next year to be completed in 1915. To make tils possible the Government will have to abandon its system of accepting only the lowest renders. It is hoped to make special arrangements for spreading the orders without causing an undue increase in cost.
