LORD DENMAN'S EVICTION.
(Received 10.20 a.m.) ! LONDON, December 23. ' Mr. Elliot Johnson, replying to the "Westminster Gazette's" comments on the action of the New South Wales Government in evicting Lord Denman, states that New South Wales' public feeling is entirely adverse to the Governmenfa action. He declares that Mr. W. A. Holman, Attorney-General, was primarily responsible and that he took the initiative while Mr. McGowen was in London. |
