PANIC AT PICTURE SHOW.

A FILM ON FIRE. TWELVE PEOPLE KILLED. FIFTY OTHERS INJURED. (Received 10.20 a.m.) BRUSSELS December 23. A panic attended by scriou.-, loss of life occurred in a cnnniatograph theatre at Barraques. A film caught fire, and though it was quickly extinguished, a panic arose through a man in the audience shouting fire.

The exits became jammed, and when the panic was finally quelled it was found that twelve had been killed and fifty initrred. The killed and injured were mostly children.
