CHRISTMAS TREE'S. On Friday evening a Christmas tree and social were given by Star of Newmarket Druids' Lodge to the wives and children of members, and proved a great success, over one hundred children being present Brn. Raddicker acted as Father Christmas, i and presented each child with a toy. SuT>j sequently members of the Social Committee j -regaled the children with lollies and re- | freshments. Musical items were given by : Miss Cameron, Mr. Davidson, Bro. Monroe, j and others. Bro. Munroe thanked the ladies for bringing the children along in such i goodly numbers, and hoped that this first. I gathering would prove the forerunner of many such happy occasions. Bro. Radi deker responded -feUcitonsly, and the pro- : ceexiings terminated.
