A proclapjatiou has been gazetted suspending, iheonnection with the Exhibition, the operation of the Arbitration Act, and of any award or industrial agteuiifent in force thereunder, an 3. of the Factories Act, the Shops and Offices i Act, in so far as those provisions relate to the "hours of commencing or of cea-s----ing work, the issue of permits for overtime or extended hours, holidays, or half-holidays, or to the closing of shops i in so far as they affect the commissioners for the Exhibition, any person employed by them or any exhibitor.
