Somerfield, T. 11. Dawson, P. J. Ohlson, T. Buston, and l. V. Langsford (secretary). Protest Upheld.—A protest lodged by the Grafton fifth, grade 'team against North Shore, on .the grounds 'that 'their .team Included a number of founth-grade players, was upheld, and ;che match awarded to Grafton. Transfers.—F. G. Ilayward was granted a clearance from the City Club, and D. J. King a transfer from Unire-rsi-ty to College Rifles. 'Representative Match.—The New Zealand J Union wrote, sta.ing _at July 20 had been I fixed for the match South Island comrfcry I team v. Auckland, at Auckland, which was [agreed to. j North v. South Island.—The New Zealand I Union advised that July 13 had been fixed as the date for the North v. I Misconduct.—ln response to a direction from 'the annual meeting of delegates, the j management committee of the K.Z.R.U. expressed the following opinion on the o_gp i Union's by-law No. 30, so tar as it -permits 1-tiiat union to consider a report from any person.—That under the by-laws of the 1 game, no player can be reported for misI conduct on the field of play by any person other than 'the referee, -and 'tha-t, therefore, the Otago Union's by-law is not in order. Protest Dismissed.—A protest against the Ponsonby fourth, by the Cfty fourth, on .the ground 'tha-t one of their players was overweight, was dismissed. Affiliation C_DC.l!ed.—The Kawa-kawa Clnb wrote: cancelling affiliation, as they _tad joined the Whangarei Union. Deferred.—An application for permission to play B. Edwards in the Post Office team third grade was deferred. Northern Wairoa Match.— An application from 'the Northern Wairoa Union for a date for the annual match wa. considered, and it was decided to send the B team ■to the Wairoa on Juiy 20. Reprimanded.—A complaint from Mr. H. Williams, referee In 'the Grafton V. v. Newton V. game on Saturday 1 , that 'the captain of the former had refused to give him the nam. of a player ordered off, was considered, and a reprimand inflicted. The player ordered oft was suspended for a week.
