SECOND MATCH WON. SURREY BEATEN BY 52 RUNS. (By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright.) LONDON, May 11. The match between the South Africans and Surrey was concluded to-day. The county team made 163 in reply to their opponents' total of 252. In their second venture the Africans made ITo, while at the drawing of stumps yesterday Surrey, wanting 260 to win, had lost two wickets for 90 rune. Play was resumed to-day in glorious weather. Surrey's innings closed at 212 runs, and South Africa thus won by 52 runs. Carter took three wickets for 11 runs. Following are the scores: — SOUTH AFRICA.
