NEW GRAMMAR SCHOOL
TO BE CAIXED FOE. The committee of the Auckland Grammar School Board, set up to consider the question of the proposed new school building on the Jit. Eden site, reported to tie Board at its meeting yesterday. j recommending that competitive designs be called for, the cost not to exceed £45,000. No restrictions, in the committee's opinion, ought to be put upon the architects as to the style of the building, and it was recommended that a premium of £400 be paid for the first design, £200 for the second, and £100 for the third.
