MOTOR CAR COLLISION.
MR. JON FULLER AWARDED DAMAGES. (By Telegraph.—Pre«» Association, i CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday. A sequel to a motor ear collision on the Peninsular Hills, just above Barry Bay, recently, was a claim for £4O damages, brought by John Fuller, of Auckland, theatrical proprietor, against Dr. Thacker. at the Magistrate's Court before Mr. H. W. Bishop. S.M-. to-day. The plaintiff claimed £4O for damage done to his car by a collision caused by the alleged negligent driving of the defendant's chauffeur, and for travelling and boarding expenses by the plaintiff as the result of the injuries to his car. The plaintiff put down these expenses at £lO 10/8. After hearing the evidence His Worship said he felt perfectly certain that the accident had been caused through the attempt of the defendant's chauffeur to pass the plaintiff's car on a dangerous road, and was also certain that the plaintiffs driver was not to blame for what had happenod. Judgment would be for the plaintiff for £3O and costs.
