BUILDING THE BABY FLEET.
THE SYDNEY NAVY YARD. TIME LOUT WAITED. (Received 1025 a-m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Commonwealth and the New South Wales Government have been for months discussing the question of building a cruiser and two destroyers in the Cockatoo Dock, without arriving at a conclusion. It is stated that the stumbling-block now is the question of a time limit. The Commonwealth is dissatisfied with the time taken in piecing together the destroyer Warrcgo, which is not yet completed. It is understood that the State is not prepared to give a time guarantee.
