The Snb-Lnspector explained that Hawker had been in the Costley Home but had been so unruly that the authorities -would not take him Something would hare to he done w:th him, else he would one day be fujnd dead on the street. Robert Marshall, a street fruit vendor, pie-aded guilty to having had in his poss. s-sion (1) an unjust weighing ma-chine, and (2) an unstamped weighing machine. Richard James (Mr. Hackett) and Siren Marins Meiklesen (Mr. Singer) the two men charged with being concerned in the kidnapping of Gladys Kipp from her mother, appeared before the Magistrate this morning and were remanded for a veek. Bail was fixed-in each case, at two sureties of '£lso.
