N.Z. METHODIST CONFERENCE
TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS The annual New Zealand Methodist conference was resumed to-day, the President (Rev. W. Ready) .occupying the chair. THE WORK OF THE CHURCH. The conference went into committee to discuss the work of the church generally. The subject was introduced by the president and the Rev. C H. lavi% (Christchurch), read a powerful address which touched on the various phases of Church work. (The discussion lasted most of the forenoon, and was still in progress when the conference adjourned at lunch time.
