BANKRUPTCY COURT.
A sitting in bankruptcy was held by his Honor Mr. Justice Edwards at the Supremo Court this morning. The Official Assignee (Mr. \V. is. Fisher) was in attendance. Charles Short, of Auckland, carrier and contractor, was granted a discharge, Mr. Denniston appearing on his behair. John Bregman, of Glen Murray, Waikato, farmer, was granted a discharge. Mr. Prendergast appeared in support of the application. The application for a discharge in the case of Chas. Samuel Shepherd, of Tc Rapt, fanner, was struck out, there being no appearance in support. A motion for discharge in respect of Alfred Aldred, of Ponsonby, dairyman, was adjourned sine die, to be recalled upon the receipt of 1< days' notice from opposing creditors. Mr. Prendergast represented the applicant. The application of Joseph \Ym. Kneebone, engineer, of Coromandel, for discharge, was, on the application of Mr. Prendergast (instructed by Mr. Clendnn). adjourned until the next sitting of the Bankruptcy Couri on February 13, 1912. Sitting in chambers, his Honor adjourned sine die a motion for an order declaring memo, of transfer void in the f-jse of Robert Cunningham, bankrupt. Mr. Mays supported the morion, and Mr. M-eVeagh opposed. The matter may he brought on upon three days' notice to either party. In the case of Gardner v. Laton, summons for an order of committal (Mr. McVeagh in support!, witnesses were ordered to attend before his Honor on Monday at 10.30 a.m. The motion in re, Thomas Wylic, bankrupt, for an order declaring goods part of a bankrupt's estate, was adjourned until the next bankruptcy sitting in February.
